- Open Enrollment Ends: December 7
- Open Enrollment Begins: October 15
- Medicare Advantage Enrollment: January 1 to March 31

If you’re already enrolled, act now to make necessary changes. Scott Minea, Executive Director of Missouri SHIP, confirms that you can only switch your Part D drug plan during this time.
Important: After December 7, you will be locked into your chosen plan for the coming year.
Who Can Change Their Coverage?
This open enrollment period is for both new and current Medicare members. They can change their coverage during this time. Minea notes that most people switch their Medicare plans in the fall.

During this period, 40% of our yearly activity occurs, making it four times busier than the rest of the year.
