Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Handle accurate claim submissions, follow-ups, and resubmissions.
- Work closely with insurance payors to resolve denials and ensure maximum reimbursement.
- Track accounts receivable, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy.
- Support clients and clinicians through clear communication and efficient billing processes.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and coding standards.
Who They’re Looking For
This isn’t an entry-level job — Woven Care is looking for someone who already understands the ins and outs of medical billing.
You should have:
- 2–4 years of experience in healthcare billing or collections.
- Knowledge of pre-authorizations, payment posting, and insurance processes.
- Experience with speech, occupational, or physical therapy billing (preferred).
- Strong computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Office and EMR systems (Raintree preferred).
You’ll also need excellent communication skills, the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Work Location and Schedule
This is a remote position, but applicants must reside (or plan to move) to one of the following states:
AL, AZ, CA, CO, GA, IL, KY, ME, MO, MS, MT, NC, NE, NH, NY, OK, PA, TN, TX, WA, WI.
Work hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm MST
